WWII VE & VJ VICTORY DAYS
With the legacy of the First and Second World Wars, it’s a reminder that every major conflict is never isolated to any particular region, as displayed in today’s contemporary conflicts. Commonwealth forces played a major part in defeating the Axis powers and Japan’s Imperial Forces. The victims of these wars are mainly civilians who were innocent of decisions leading to potential mass slaughter. This anniversary should be a reminder to all that Human Rights should be observed, as in the 1945 UN Charter & Geneva Conventions.
The economic impact of global conflict in 2023 was $19.1 trillion, or $2,380 per person. This increased by $158 billion, mainly driven by a 20% increase in GDP losses from conflicts. Most wars arise from a continued economic decline driven by epidemic corruption. The additional need to blame external forces has led to culture wars to hide systemic failures. 50 countries created the UN Charter in 1945, a very important international treaty to establish equal rights and global peace to avoid future world wars like WWI & WWII.
