EMMA PR

EMMA PR is a distinctive part of EMMA’s ongoing work that highlights our unique communication skills to promote UK & Global Social Cohesion alongside our many clients’ ability to widen their appeal for their diverse audience and market.
Public Relations is about reputation – highlighting “what you do” against “what you say” that leads to “what others say about you”. Public Relations ultimately as a discipline looks after reputation to earn understanding, support, and influence opinion from your behaviour. It is the planned and sustained effort to establish and maintain goodwill and mutual understanding between an organisation and the public – this is ultimately based on good PR against bad PR. Every society can gauge their own PR through an understanding of Multicultural values against misinformation.
EMMA has provided a comprehensive media communication strategy for our clients who believe in the collective approach to promote social cohesion within society. Having worked with numerous governments and corporations through our one-to-one PR strategies, as demonstrated by our association with the EMMA Show, this helped display the UK globally as a multicultural society that led to staging the 2012 Olympics.
We have successfully achieved good PR for many clients since 1995 with a unique pioneering approach, creating numerous multicultural campaigns, as demonstrated by our widely acclaimed EMMA TV Show and Ad campaigns. Many global icons who had understood EMMA’s objectives and the value we bring endorsed us. This should be noted, because the word Multicultural is a fact of life in any modern society that is ultimately based on a Metropolitan environment and a Cosmopolitan lifestyle, any attempt to bastardise the term multiculturalism is only promoting Far Right politics.
The negative term that a few would like to associate with the Multicultural term as being ‘Ghetto’ does ultimately reflect their own Ghetto politics, which is based on ‘tribalism’ or leaning towards Far-Right political fascism. Any minority group that does formulate a ghetto environment through poverty or ignorance should be encouraged by the relevant government to integrate by creating a national identity for all, not for the few, as society’s evolution is through the formation of social and cultural identity as promoted through our Creative Industries. EMMA successfully created a national Identity through the national EMMA show, which led to our 2012 “Multicultural” Olympic Games. There has been no equivalent to this national social cohesion campaign in any country globally – hence, the need to appreciate EMMA.
The English Dictionary defines ‘Multiculturalism’ as “a situation in which all the different cultural or racial groups in a society have equal rights and opportunities, and none is ignored or regarded as unimportant.” Sadly, today’s politics is alien to the true meaning of “Multiculturalism” that has been deemed to fail, as headlines would have it, is due to the lack of engagement with organisations like EMMA.
Sadly, many organisations don’t understand proper “Multicultural” values; hence, their definition is based on just tolerance, not acceptance of another dark person who is British regardless of their race, colour or religion. As shown through the recent growing political division, the divide among all communities, is due to numerous failures at all levels by groups of officials who by default are disconnected and live in their own gated community. The disconnect has gotten so bad that stealth racism is becoming more common, with acceptance of tribal politics being the norm in urban areas towards a mono culture through their racist Nazi salutes as becoming commonplace, which is only overlooked by many people who are collectively focused toward a consumer culture, or maybe have their own tribal agenda, towards division.
The only national common ground left, is the short-term economics of generating profit; so there is this pressing need for long-term economic stability to facilitate genuine growth through those ignored Multicultural values. Many recessions that lead to depression has led to Far-Right politics, characterising the ‘us versus them’ mentality. Leading to domestic and global conflicts, dividing communities further, generating a war economy, whereby the state decides who shall live and then die.
The assumption that promoting one ethnic group “fits all” ultimately creates further alienation amongst many invisible Minorities through nepotism. This has created an even more confusing situation, whereby internal racism amongst the various Ethnic Minority groups appears but is covered up due to the embarrassment it leads to. So there is a need to promote Multiculturalism, for some Minorities, by appreciating this.
The need to get “Multiculturalism” right is extremely crucial to avoid further social Ghettoisation of communities through a stereotypical approach which mirrors the norms growing at present – it has led to increasing political racism, extremism and terrorism in its many forms. The fact is that EMMA pioneered this ground-breaking awards ceremony on National Television (ITV and BBC) in 1997, showcasing proper multiculturalism value to create a better understanding – hence forming the backdrop to the London Olympic Games with many Minorities volunteering as Game makers.
EMMA has undertaken numerous social cohesion Ad campaigns and won countless global awards alongside its continuous lobbying efforts. EMMA even organised a conference after the London 2011 riots to ensure the success of the London 2012 Multicultural Olympic Games to help counter the destructive riots. EMMA has helped to enhance the “British Multicultural brand” globally, adding to economic growth. With this in mind, EMMA has launched the Time4Peace initiative to counter all forms of conflict from all parties and to avert us from sleepwalking into a possible third World War — leading to a nuclear exchange that could end civilisation as we know it.
EMMA’s clients included the likes of BT, BBC, ITV, NatWest, UBS, National Power, Department for Trade & Industry, the University of London, the University of Kingston, The Governments of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, World Cup Cricket 1996, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), The UK Film Council, the London Development Authority, Commonwealth Memorial Gates, to name a few.
In line with our Multicultural aims and objectives, we are currently producing an anti-war feature film, Fatherland, and a Time4Peace music concert to raise funds for charities such as Save the Children and Oxfam, among others. To help the suffering of the children and women from wars around the world and rebuild common values.
